3 Days: Tarangire and Ngorongoro Camping safari

3 Days: Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater Joining Group safari tour that takes you to Tarangire National Park and the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Known as the “Garden of Eden,” Ngorongoro offers the chance to see the elusive black rhino, while Tarangire is home to herds of elephants, towering baobab trees, climbing pythons, lions, leopards, and many more fascinating animals. In just a short time, you’ll have the opportunity to witness all the Big Five.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, we will transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha city for an overnight stay Arusha city, preparing for your safari adventure.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your Arusha Lodge at 8:00 AM and embark on a 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. After arriving, you will enjoy a full day of game drives with picnic lunch, where you’ll witness a large population of elephants, climbing pythons, and iconic baobab trees. The park also hosts lions, leopards, and other species.
In the evening, we’ll head to Jambo Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Full Day

After an early breakfast at 6:30 AM, we will head to Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of exploration with picnic lunch. The crater is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including the Big Five. You’ll also spot a variety of birds and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater while taking in the stunning surroundings, including flamingos in high concentration.
The Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, was formed by an explosion and collapse around 2-3 million years ago. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. After a rewarding day inside the crater, we will drive you back to Arusha for an overnight stay.
