5-Day Mid Range Safari Southern Tanzania

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

After breakfast leave Dar –es- salaam with picnic lunch boxes. A 6 hour drive takes you to Selous Game Reserve on time for boat trip in thenight inRufiji River. You will come close to hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat Dinner and overnight Rufiji River Camp.

Day 2: Selous Game Reserve 

A full day game viewing out this 54,600 square Kilometer game Reserve famous for its abundant wildlife including lions, wild does, elephants etc. Meals and overnight at Rufiji River Camp.

Day 3: Mikumi National Park

Early breakfast, with the guidance of armed rangers depart for wilderness walking safari that well give you an intimate feel for the African wild after 2 hours of waking, your vehicle will pick you and with game drive en-route to Mikumi. The drive will take you up Uluguru Mountains, farms and past villages to Mikumi National Park for meals and overnight Vuma Hill Camp.

Day 4: Mikumi National Park

A full day of game viewing in Mikumi National park for lions, buffalo, eland, hartebeest elephants wild dog, Zebra, giraffe etc. Meals and overnight at Vuma Hill Camp.

Day 5: Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, game viewing in Mikumi National Park Until lunch time. After Lunch Drive back to Dar es Salaam Dinner and overnight at Serena Hotel Dar es Salaam.
