Day 1

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Nairobi Safari Park Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2:Mount Kenya National Reserve

After breakfast and a brief safari orientation, commence safari and drive through the rich agricultural country towards the Mount Kenya region, arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will proceed on a nature walk guided by a lodge naturalist returning for a game viewing from the balcony of your lodge. Dinner and overnight at SERENA MOUNTAIN LODGE.
The mountain Lodge is located in indigenous forest 7,200 feet up in the foothills of the Mount Kenya National Reserve. The lodge overlooks a natural waterhole and salt lick surrounded by dense forest. On a clear day you can see the jagged peaks of Mount Kenya through the trees. Game is watched from the balconies facing the flood lit waterhole.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast drive through the Equator – a clear day will show you the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya, Africa’s second highest mountain at 17,057 feet or 5,199 meters above sea level, to the northern frontier country arriving in time for lunch at your camp. In the late afternoon proceed on a game viewing drive returning for dinner and overnight at SAMBURU INTREPIDS.
A place of dust-red plains and palm-fringed rivers, Samburu National Reserve lies on the fringes of the vast and arid desert once known as the Northern Frontier District. Physically dramatic, the 104 sq kilometer landscape features rocky battlements, dry riverbeds and thorn scrub. As for wildlife Samburu offers sanctuary to the endangered Grevy’s zebra, the rare beisa Oryx and the blue-shanked Somali ostrich whilst large herds of elephant roam the gaunt hills during the day before returning to bath on the banks of the river in the evening. It is also famously referred as the “Born-free Country”, where Elsa the Lioness was brought up by Joy Adamson the wife of George who was a game warden. Following the death of their mother, Joy became their foster parent bringing them up and later the Born-free Movie series was produced. More recently Samburu was also the venue where “Survivor Africa” movie series was shot.

Day 4: Samburu National Reserve

Early start tea and coffee will be served at the lounge, thereafter proceed on a pre-dawn game viewing drive returning to your lodge for a full breakfast. Later in morning you will have an option to visit a local samburu village, returning for lunch. In the late afternoon proceed on a game viewing drive returning for dinner and overnight at SAMBURU INTREPIDS.

Day 5. SweetWaters Game Sanctuary

After breakfast drive to Mt. Kenya town of Nanyuki, arriving for lunch at your camp. In the late afternoon proceed on a game viewing drive returning for dinner and overnight at SERENA SWEETWATERS CAMP.

Day 6. Lake Nakuru National Park

Today you will drive into the Great Rift Valley the most beautiful scenery in Kenya as you descend down the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. The highlights of your stay here is to visit Lake Nakuru National Park special for the ornithologist as it has some of the biggest bird-life species; when water levels are low, millions of flamingos color the lake pink. You will also get a chance to see the white Rhino, Rothschild giraffe, Buffalo and the cat family. All meals and overnight at LAKE NAKURU SOPA LODGE.

Day 7. Maasai mara National Reserve

Ngorongoro Crater is one of the seven natural wonders of the world and also known as “Africa’s Eden”. Here you have a great opportunity to perhaps see your first Rhino, prides of Lions, Wildebeest, Cape Buffalo, Zebras and for you bird lovers, over 400 species of birds call the crater their home. Mid-day you will then enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before resuming your afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay will continue at the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 8: Mara

On the second day in Mara; Early start, tea and coffee will be served at the lounge, thereafter proceed on a pre-dawn game viewing drive returning to your camp for a full breakfast. After breakfast the rest of the morning will be spend at leisure, Lunch. In the late afternoon proceed on a game viewing drive returning for dinner and overnight at MARA SERENA SAFARI LODGE.

Day 9: Depart

Today marks your last day in Kenya. After breakfast drive back to Nairobi arriving in the late afternoon and thereafter you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight.
